Our Commitment to Child Safety and Wellbeing

​

Quirky Notions Theatre Lab is committed to being a child safe organisation.  We commit to protecting and improving the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people engaged in our services and activities, in both our physical and online environments. 

 

​All participants regardless of their gender, race, religious beliefs, age, disability, sexual identity and orientation, or family or social background, have the right to feel safe, respected, and heard.

​

We believe all young people have a voice, and deserve opportunitites to meaningfully contribute to our programs, spaces and policies.

​

Quirky Notions Theatre Lab adheres to and is guided by the 10 National Principals for Child Safe Organisations and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Children. All leaders, staff, volunteers, and contractors are expected to adhere to our child safety and wellbeing policies, procedures, and always adhere to the Code of Conduct.

COMPLAINTS

We want everyone to feel safe and happy. If something feels wrong, unfair, or unsafe, you have the right to tell us. You will not get in trouble for speaking up. We will listen to you, help you, and work to fix the problem.

You can make a complaint by:

  • Sending us an email without the form to info@quirkynotions.org with COMPLAINTS in the subject line

  • Speak to us directly in person.​

​

                             Remember you can always ask an adult you trust to help you make the complaint!
